AIR - American Institutes for Research

I worked with AIR’s Quality Reading Program Tajikistan & Kyrgyzstan on a photo essay about their work in Tajikistan. We traveled to a remote village near the border to Afghanistan and photographed the students and teachers in the local school. We used the photos in banners, photo essays for USAID, and on their website and social media. Click the button below to read more about their project.

IntraHealth - Feed The Future

I did two activities with Feed The Future’s Tajikistan Health and Nutrition Activity. FTF performed an in-depth assessment of 14 maternity wards of which I photographed one for their report . Next, we created a banner for healthy nutrition which is still an underdeveloped area in the country. The client wanted a cute poster child sitting at a table with healthy foods.

UNIDO

UNIDO was a lot of fun and very different from what I usually do - product photography. We showcased the carpets and home textile collection of the La’al company, founded by UNIDO to encourage Tajik women to sell their products outside of Tajikistan. The images I produced were printed in a row of catalogues and displayed on UNIDO’s website.
